Magickal Candles
I’m offering some handmade beeswax candles at my Etsy shop. Here’s a look at a few of them:
House Blessing Candles
$5 Cnd each (or a little over $4 USD at current exchange)
This particular combination of oils is designed to cleanse, bless and purify your space. Lavender brings positive energy; sage banishes negative energy; and rosemary purifies and empowers. White candles are used to bless and purify as well. Some lavender flowers have been added to the edges for decoration.
Incidentally this particular combination of scents is also suited to improve your mood, clarify thought, and improve memory. I made six but I liked them so much that I kept one for myself!
Open the Gates Spirit-Work Candles
$5 Cnd each (or a little over $4 USD at current exchange)
The particular combination of oils is designed to open the gates to spirit-work; hedgewitchery, astral travel, psychic powers, and opening the third eye. Mugwort, Wormwood and Benzoin are used in witch’s flying ointments and incenses for these purposes. White candles are used to bless and purify as well. Some mugwort herbs have been added to the edges for decoration.
I made six but I liked them so much that I kept one for myself!
Elemental Candle Set
$20 Cnd for the set (or a little over $16 USD at current exchange)
These candles are dedicated to the four elements and are also decorated with appropriate herbs, crystals, and symbols:
EARTH (green down-pointing triangle with line): Oakmoss, Patchouli and Cypress oils; Green Calcite stone; Mugwort herb.
AIR (yellow up-pointing triangle with line): Benzoin, Sage and Anise oils; Amethyst stone; Lavender herb.
FIRE (red up-pointing triangle): Bay, Orange and Dragon’s Blood oils; Sunstone crystal; Peppermint herb.
WATER (blue down-pointing triangle): Vanilla, Rose and Lemwoils; Iolite stone; Rose Petals.
To retrieve the crystal afterwards, pick off as much wax as you can and then run it under hot water until the wax is removed. Obviously these are designed as ritual invocation candles, but they can also be used in any act of elemental magick.
Custom Spell Candles
$7 Cnd each (or a little under $6 USD at current exchange)
Got a spell idea but you’re not sure how to execute it? Want to make a devotional offering to your personal deity or the local land-wights? Let me design a custom candle for you. These votive candles are handmade from the purest quality white beeswax (just like traditional church candles) and scented with only pure essential oils, which will be chosen according to their magickal purpose (and pleasing combination). Each candle will also contain herbs and a crystal that are appropriate for the intention. You can keep the crystal afterwards, just wash the rest of the wax off with hot water.
Simple art (uncomplicated magickal symbols and the like) are available at no extra charge. Complicated symbols (ie. Goetic, complex bindrunes, etc.) are available for a $2 upgrade; request a custom order.
Please specify particular requests (ie. if you think that it’s not a Kemetic/Egyptian incense without benzoin, just ask!) and any allergies with your order in the Notes to the Seller. Polytheist, chaos magick and pop culture magick friendly.
