Book Tour Diary: Week Three

Part 1 and Part 2 can be found at these links.

This week we didn’t really go anywhere to do book signings. Originally I was scheduled to present at the Wise Woman Festival in the metaphysically-oriented vineyard town of Naramata, but it was cancelled due to a labour dispute. Well, I’m glad that we wouldn’t cross a picket line! No scabs in my family, thank you very much!

So instead, we went shopping for a touring vehicle. And we found exactly what we were looking for in a small Okanagan RV camperized van that was available in Summerland. Exactly the design we wanted and setup we wanted, carefully maintained by a really nice man who made us a fair deal.  It had everything we could possibly need, and was in fantastic condition and met all the conditions we’d asked for when we put it out there.  So instead of crashing out on people’s couches, we’ll be bringing our own little mini-home in style!

Here’s some pics:

Now all the craziness and packing, then off to Edmonton!
