My Book is Freshly Back from the Copyeditor . . .
. . . and I’ve got until the 18th to do a last editing run over it and accept or reject his changes before it goes in for proofs. I get the proofs in the middle of April. After that it goes to print, with publication date planned for about September.
I am likely to be very busy over the next couple of weeks as I make this work my priority. So you likely won’t be seeing a lot of blogging from me in that time. Sorry guys, I’ll try to keep up, but this is going to be a month of work!
I like my copyeditor so far. He’s very good at simplifying a lot of what I was trying to say, which means it will be easier for me to find the target word-count, as well as make for a smoother read.
