Putting the Sun in Sun Wheel

Chalice and Blade

Just got back from the fabulous SunWheel Pagan Arts Festival, outside Edmonton Alberta! They aren’t kidding about the sun, folks!

Uh, except for the thunderstorm and lightening and rain that hit just before we were due to go on stage on Saturday. But, they don’t call Pagans nature-lovers for nothing! We gathered inside the cookhouse for an evening of impromptu music and song-sharing.

And, then, on Sunday, with the sun in full attendance, they made a jam-packed musical day with all the different musical acts performing on the one day. What a great way to celebrate the Canada Day weekend!

So many thanks to express! To the organizers for a fabulous job, to the warm welcome by the Alberta pagans and to many new friends. To the other musicians – Sharon Knight and Winter, Vanessa Cardui, Heather Dale and Band, Sable Aradia, Chad McLeary
